From Willow:
Today, our good friend was here painting and I just couldn't resist rubbing up against the walls. Don't you think white looks good on me?
Willow is available for adoption through www.chesed-rescue.org. She's an amazing girl who will make a fantastic addition to your family. This is her story.

Cat Testing - Making Improvements
We let Willow get up & personal with a few of our cats this weekend. She's making huge strides with her behavior around them. We really think she'll be fine with more exposure.
No cats were harmed in the making of these videos:

I love kids!!
From Willow:
Foster mom and dad just took me over to a friend's house to meet their young children (I'm told they were 7 & 4) and I loved them! Plus, there were other little people around the street who pet me and I gave them kisses. Foster mom forgot to take pictures but trust me, I'm a kid's best friend.
Happy Sunday!

Day 8 - Two more visitors came to see me today!
From Willow:
My true rescuer, Bobbi, came to see me today. It was wonderful to spend time with her. She came to give foster mom some items for me. While she was here, she took pics and videos of me. I rolled around in the grass for her.
Foster mom's close friend came over next. She had a funny accent that I had never heard of before. It was interesting. She was really sweet. We played with toys and I gave her lots of kisses.
Tulip and I then took a nap :)

Day 5 of foster is fun!
From Willow:
This afternoon, my foster sister and I watched foster mom do some yard work. We then played with toys.
Now, I'm in the office watching foster mom work.
Life is good but I still need a permanent home. Please comment on this post if you can help me find my forever home. Thanks!

Willow in our foster care - the first 4 days
Willow is fantastic!
She's currently separated from our cats because we're not quite sure how she'd be with them on her own. We're slowly introducing her to our felines and correcting any negative behavior. She's getting much better and doesn't react like she initially did when we brought her home.
She's so trainable! On the leash, she listens to what we ask of her. And in the home, she performs commands and is learning the lay of the land.
She and our Pitbull, Tulip, get along splendidly. They are both so mellow. Also, we've seen Willow with small dogs and she loves them.
What a great girl. Here are some pictures we've captured since she's been with us:

Meet Willow - the prettiest French Pittie who will steal your heart!
I first learned of Willow a couple of months ago when my rescue buddy, Bobbi, asked if I could help promote this girl. Bobbi had accepted Willow into her rescue, Chesed Rescue, after Broward cops found her on the streets in really bad shape.
The officers didn't want to take her to Animal Control (where she probably wouldn't have made it out alive) so they reached out to rescues to take her. Luckily, Bobbi stepped up. I can see why she did. Willow is a mush ball. When found, she had so many medical issues. So much neglect had taken a toll on her little body.
A few months of TLC has worked wonders for Willow girl. Most of her hair has grown back, a mass removed (cancer-free), ears/eye infections cleared and she's gained weight!
The image/copy in this post is what initially caught my eye.

On New Year's Eve, my girlfriend and I went to get Willow from her boarding facility. I couldn't stand to have her sit in a run for one more night. We had fun giving her her breakout bath! After meeting her in person, I realized she looked exactly like a cross between a French Bulldog and a Pitbull. She's blueish/greyish...she's absolutely beautiful with a little smushed in face.
This blog is about Willow's time in our home and why she would be a fantastic pooch for the right people out there. Is that YOU?
